Holiday Apartments “Auszeit im Schwarzwald” – Lahr & Schwanau Together for a lovely home away from home

Dear Guests,

We have furnished our holiday apartments with great care, effort and attention to detail. Please treat the accommodation with the same respect you would show your own home. This helps ensure that future guests can also feel comfortable here.If anything is unclear or missing, please contact us at any time.

🧭 General Information

  • Please also inform your fellow travelers about these house rules.
  • Furniture and fixtures may not be rearranged or taken outdoors.
  • Please avoid entering the apartment with outdoor shoes.
  • Overnight guests are only permitted by prior arrangement.
  • The maximum number of persons must not be exceeded.

🛏️ Damages

Small accidents can happen. Please notify us of any damage immediately so we can arrange a quick replacement.The guest is liable for damage caused intentionally or through negligence.

🔐 Security and Duty of Care

  • Always lock the apartment door when leaving.
  • Close windows when leaving (protection against rain and break-ins).
  • For fire safety reasons, keep the entrance door closed, but do not lock it.

🌱 Environmental Protection

Please use water and electricity sparingly. Turn off lights and electrical appliances when leaving the apartment.

🍽️ Kitchen

  • Only put away dishes once clean and dry.
  • Place hot pots only on trivets.
  • Use cutting boards to protect the countertops.
  • Clean the oven and microwave after use.
  • Cleaning supplies are provided.

🛏️ Bed Linen & Towels

Bed linen and towels are provided by us and are included in the rental price.

Please handle the provided textiles with care.
Heavily soiled or damaged textiles (e.g. due to make-up, hair dye or other hard-to-remove substances) may be charged for.

🚿 Bathroom

Please do not dispose of hygiene products, food scraps or fats in the toilet or sink. This can cause blockages.

🌬️ Ventilation

Please air the rooms regularly (5–10 minutes several times a day), especially in winter.This helps prevent mold formation.

🗑️ Waste Disposal

Please separate your waste:
  • Paper
  • Plastic
  • General waste
  • Glass
New garbage bags are located under the kitchen sink.

🧹 Cleaning on Departure

Please leave the apartment:
  • swept clean
  • with dishes put away clean
  • with the rubbish disposed of
Please avoid make-up stains on towels or bed linen.

🔇 Quiet Hours

Please be considerate of the neighbors.Quiet hours:10:00 PM to 8:00 AMLoud noise should be avoided during this time.

🎉 Parties & Visitors

The holiday apartments are not suitable for parties or events.Overnight guests only by prior arrangement.Unregistered persons may not stay overnight.

📶 Internet / Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi is provided free of charge.Use is at your own responsibility. You will receive the access details on arrival or in the guest folder.

🚭 Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside the apartments.Smoking is only permitted outdoors. Please dispose of cigarette butts in the designated containers.Violations may result in additional cleaning or damage costs.

🐾 Pets (differs by apartment)

🏡 Holiday Apartment Schwanau

This apartment is allergy-friendly.For this reason, pets are generally not permitted.In individual cases, if there is a justified need (e.g. assistance dog), separate consultation may be required. In this case, use may be declined for health reasons.

🏡 Holiday Apartment Lahr

In this holiday apartment, dogs up to a maximum shoulder height of 40 cm are permitted after prior registration.In addition, the following applies:
  • Dogs may not get on beds or upholstered furniture
  • Droppings outdoors must be removed
  • The guest is liable for any damage or additional cleaning costs

🌇 Additional Rule for Penthouse Lahr (Roof Terrace)

  • Children may not enter the roof terrace unsupervised.
  • Parents are liable for their children.
  • Use of the roof terrace is at your own risk.

🔑 Keys

Please do not pass keys on to others.In the event of a lost key, the guest bears the costs for replacement and any necessary security measures.

⚖️ Liability

The landlord is only liable within the framework of statutory provisions.No liability is accepted for guests’ personal valuables.

🏠 Right of Access

In the event of urgent repairs or imminent danger, the landlord or an authorized service provider may enter the accommodation.Where possible, prior notice will be given.

⏰ Arrival and Departure

Check-in is possible in both holiday apartments from 5:00 PM.

Departure times vary depending on the holiday apartment:

🏡 Holiday Apartment Lahr (Penthouse)

Check-out: by 10:00 AM at the latest

This time is necessary to ensure thorough cleaning and preparation for the next guests.

🏡 Holiday Apartment Schwanau

Check-out: by 11:00 AM at the latest

Please vacate the apartment on time so that preparations for the next guests can be made.

Late Departure

In the event of a late departure without prior arrangement, additional costs may be incurred, especially if this affects subsequent bookings.
